26 year old Olympic medalist and snowboarding legend, Shaun White publically apologized on his Facebook page after a stint of intoxicated disruption.  He expressed, “celebrating a happy occasion with a ton of family and friends…carried away” and he went on to say, I’m truly sorry for my bad behavior.”

Authorities responded to a call from Loews Vanderbilt Hotel at 2a.m. on Sunday, September 16, where White reportedly pulled the fire alarm and ignited an evacuation of the hotel. In a statement from the Nashville Metro Police department, White kicked a guest, who in turn chased the snowboarder into a fence. Injuries were treated at the local hospital and the guest did not press charges. In the end, White was arrested on misdemeanor charges after he refused to sign a citation.

Nicknamed the “Flying Tomato” for his hair, White is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and has won medals at the Winter X Games every year since 2002. He’s currently worth an estimated $20 million. Beyond his sporting career, he has a clothing line, a signature video game, and he sells BMX bikes and equipment.
