President Obama will make his stop in Charlottesville on Wendesday, August 29th at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion. Doors will open at 1 PM and tickets for the event are free.
The news of location and time comes after the University rejected the Obama campaign’s use of the Amphitheater and Harrison-Small Library plaza. U.Va. denied the request because of the impacts that would occur during the visit–which would include the cancellation of 186 classes and the closings of adjacent buildings around Grounds.
