The Virginia football team fell to the Maryland Terrapins 27-20. The ‘Hoos were in shock when Stefan Diggs ran 100 yards 13 seconds after kick off for an early Maryland lead in the first quarter. Virginia trailed Maryland 17-3 at halftime. EJ Scott caught the ball from Phillip Sims for Virginia’s first touchdown of the game. Jake McGee caught the second touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Virginia was unable to capitalize plays to earn their third win, but instead continued their losing streak to five games.
