UVa Students: Join WUVA!
WUVA Media is always recruiting new students to add to our awesome staff! WUVA is comprised of two branches: 92.7 KISS FM (a commercial radio station) and WUVAonline (a multimedia news outlet for the UVa community).
WUVA Media’s news staff covers important local events such as the events of this summer, Board of Visitors’ actions, and important news developments affecting the larger University and Charlottesville communities. This fall WUVA Media will cover national, state, and local elections, and in 2013 WUVA will cover important state elections.
For 92.7 KISS FM we are currently looking for:
- radio disc jockeys
- radio news and sport casters
- sales support
- promotion staff
- production staff
- writers interested in advertising copy
- accounting
- financial reporting and analysis
For WUVAonline we are currently looking for:
- writers, editors, and producers for news, sports, entertainment, and lifestyle
- on-air TV reporters
- videographers
- video editors
- photographers
