On Sunday, September 9, the class of 2015 hosted “Color your Cause,” a paint fight for charity. The event, held in Nameless field, brought students together in support of five great charity organizations including the Ronald McDonald House, SPCA Charlottesville, AIDS Services Group, Hope Community Center, and the Shelter for Help in Emergency for abused women. Prior to the event, each charity was assigned a color to represent it in the paint fight. Students were asked to make a donation to the organization of their choice, and received a corresponding-colored sponge to use in the fight. By the end of the paint war every color had been splattered, bringing awareness to each of these important causes.
