The Albemarle County Police department released that there were a total of 61 arrests during the Foxfield Races last Saturday, April 28. Arrests were made by the Albemarle County Police Department, Albemarle County Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia ABC Bureau of Law Enforcement. The majority of the unfortunate group of 61 were taken in for public intoxication, but also included possession of fictitious identification and underage possession of alcohol.
There were also 37 issued summonses on Garth Road and Free Union Road for motor vehicle infractions, related to state inspection and seat belt violations.
