April is National Distracted Driving Month and to educate the pubic about the dangers of driving under distraction, the Albemarle Police Department and Peer Awareness will be holding an educational event on Saturday, April 14th from 11AM to 5PM. The event will take place at Target (312 Connor Drive) and this will be an opportunity for the community to discuss a problem that is killing people every day, texting while driving.
