The title of this post merits no explanation. Like many, I am dumbstruck by the actions of the Board of Visitors. Also like many, I am away from the school on vacation and feel out of touch with what is happening. I urge everyone to stay calm and be strong. Do not listen to the conspiracies floating around about what could happen. Only read the facts. It is also important that everyone to speak up and share their thoughts. As Thomas Jefferson once said, “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” Do not hesitate to let your voice be heard.
