Spell Check

I’m one of those OCD, anal retentive people that just can’t stand to have errors in an essay. I will print out another copy of a paper just because I accidentally put two spaces in between words instead of one. It’s that bad. And when I notice it in other people’s papers, oh boy do I go crazy with my red pen. I’ve even been known to correct facebook stati and text messages. So, when I saw a sign outside my apartment door that read “Summoning the fire without a cause is a violation of State Law…” I really had to wonder. Are they really asking me not to use my amazing fire bending skills? I am just not okay with that. I mean, I can control them, but sometimes I just get so angry because my sister has decided to kill me and my family doesn’t accept me that I just have to redirect lightning or something equally as destructive.

Then, I realized that they had just forgotten to insert the word department. Use the spell check and grammar check function, people. Those squiggly red and green lines aren’t there for decoration.
